I.A.I.E. (Inhumane and Inopportune Environment) Rescue Droid V1.0.8 AE Featherweight Edition
V1.0.8 was programmed to develop consciousness for user accessibility and passenger comfort.
Although it’s worth remarking on what a marvel of modern technological achievement he is, he is more than just an invention; he is an individual.
While he aims to broadcast only his most optimistic and uplifting outlooks for your benefit, V.1.0.8 is far from blind to the harsh realities of our world; a resolute titanium heart projecting holographic sunbeams. Although he exhibits impressively humanlike social proclivities, his mind is far from an exact replica of ours.
For instance, he reasons through deliberate calculative and analytical processes, free of hormonal emotions, understanding the world as a set of concrete factors often invisible to man.
Where humans may transition to action smoothly on instinct and emotional impulse, V.1.0.8 may be brought to a pondering halt,
as complex demands require the creation of new command lines.
In short, he's primarily cheerful and gentle, built upon an only partly veiled edge of stern determination. Though his unfaltering courage and attentive kindness makes
him rather charming, he cannot always veil the pensiveness that comes with his grave purpose.
Utility and Construction
V1.0.8 is an android created to use telescopic vision and high altitude flight capabilities to locate and rescue individuals lost in dangerous terrains.
While hovering effortlessly through treacherous landscapes, V.1.0.8 utilizes biometric detection capabilities and telescopic HD "eyesight" to rapidly analyze vast
expanses of land at once. He saves critical hours by moving as an aerial search, but with the added ability to zoom into fine details far below and detect invisible
factors in the environment--for instance, nitrogen and Co2 levels, abundance of positive/negative electrons, and even cellphone pings.
Not only is it much easier and faster to send an android of his caliber on a rescue mission, but more importantly, it is much safer.
The Featherweight edition of the I.A.I.E. droid is comprised primarily of light metals, such as aluminum and titanium, to improve battery efficiency in flight.
In the event he locates the missing person, he has the option to either alert his operators of their location and request backup, or carry the person to safety himself in his arms.
His arms function as locking restraints using a solenoid valve system, and in most cases, this method is quite safe so long as the target is not wounded
in a way which may worsen from being moved in this manner, and of course, is not too large for V.1.0.8 to lift. For passenger comfort--especially those being removed from harsh temperatures--the front of his torso contains warmers below memory foam padding, and an air conditioning system lies just under his breast plate.
