About

Zinnia is the product of a magical experiment, mixing an alien with an insect from Earth. Their existence was considered disturbing, until she was found to be a shapeshifter. She loves to shift her patterns, however she isn't much of a fan of shifting her entire physical form, since it takes a lot of energy. Their main form is that of a strange looking hybrid between a beetle and an Eastern dragon, hence the double wings, antennae, furred body, and bright eyes. Zinnia is ageless: forever alive.

Zinnia is reserved upon first meeting due to her past, and her skewed "childhood." She is very, very polite and motherly when she wants to be. Despite this, Zinnia loves to play games on the people and animals of Earth. She is also fiercely protective. They will never let any animal or plant of "hers" go harmed. She has a particular fondness for insects... Zinnia is also very flamboyant, in a shy way. She knows that she's eye-catching, but is humble about it and only displays her beauty when people ask. They love to fly between worlds and through space. She will always find a way to entertain herself. Zinnia is also a very romantic being. She loves to feel loved and give love. Their love can be anything from platonic to romantic. She knows no limits.

Before Zinnia was a free-spirit, she was raised in an alien lab. They grow up in a similar form to her current, however was trained from the start of her existence to be polite, stoic, and obedient. When the lab was finally taken down by a revolution between experiments, Zinnia was finally free, and now lets herself do what she was never able to do before: have fun. Because of this, Zinnia is very understanding and respectful, traits they picked up from her time in the lab.

Trivia

• Whenever Zinnia becomes extremely overjoyed or happy, she will "buzz" her wings, simiarly to a beetle.
• She hates being alone. They don't care who or what she's with, but she hates to be alone.
• Zinnia's name comes from the flower, however she loooks more similar to a Dhahlia flower. When they first picked their name, she often had her tail in the form of a flower, with leaves growing out of it. She now keeps the tip of her tail as "flower-like" but no longer has leaves.
• Her senses are very heightened. Her ears are very sensitive, and her legs and antennae can pick up very small movements.
