Winston Reed

Winston Reed is one of two children of the esteemed Reed family, the other being his twin sibling, Cedric.

Winston is the most lax out of his entire family. He never cared that he was part of a rich family, and never acted like it. He found it difficult to live up to the standard that his parents set out for him, leaving him at the end of verbal and emotional abuse from them as the called him a failure and a disgrace to the family name. When Cedric also started turning on him, he began to resent his entire family, including his sibling that he used to be very close to. He quickly learned not to speak about hatred for this legacy any near his parents, lest they lash out with abuse towards him. All this caused him to question any good faith he could find in people, seeing it all as a front used to take advantage of people, as that is how his parents present themselves to the general public.

After he runs away, he takes the alias "Chester Moore" for his own safety. He does not tell a single person in Lynborne about his past, fearing word would spread and his parents would find him. He purposefully picked a generic sounding name as to not draw any attention to himself. He also manages to put faith in some others, as it was the kindness of a certain someone that gave him a place to live until he settled in the town. Nowadays, he is often very exhausted from many sleepless nights, has less care for keeping up appearances (noted in his messy fur and slouched posture), and wears mostly second hand clothing.

Winston still retains some bitterness toward Cedric, but truly just wants to help them pass on, since the last thing they ever did was save his life, he should return the favour.

Winston is good at piecing information together, albeit at his own pace.
