Sage Indigo Marwood, born Sage Indigo Coriander, is the eldest child to Ivy Coriander and Herb Coriander, their younger brother being Alder Coriander. Her childhood was an unhappy one. After Ivy and Herb divorced, which led to Herb leaving, Sage was stuck with their mother. Ivy was involved in the crime ring which meant Sage was involved in the crime ring from a young age. Ivy was an overbearing and abusive mother. Sage got diagnosed with an eating disorder at fourteen and suffered until her twenties. Through the crime, Sage met a girl a few years younger than her named Daffodil Thomas. The two became good friends. 

At twenty-one years old, Sage ran away from the crime life, from Ivy, from Alder. They moved to a town called Cryptic Hill. There she met a man named Sweeney Burton. The two became friends and rented an apartment together. Through Sweeney, Sage met Nikita Morozov. They all became a trio for a few years before an old friend moved into town; Daffodil Thomas, now going by Daffy. Sage opened up a cafe downtown that had a bunch of animals deemed 'creepy' like snakes, tarantulas, bugs and more. 

When Sage was twenty-five years old, she met the twenty-three year old Evánthos Marwood, who was new in town. He had opened an occult shop right next door to the cafe Sage owned. After a year and a half of knowing each other, the two began to date. 

The friend group consists of Sage, Sweeney, Daffy, Nikita and Evánthos. Sage and Evánthos are engaged! The two live together and are very happy.
