History

Since Biteheart became Bitestar, he's lead his Clan with unwavering honor and is very attentive to his duties. Early on he was gifted a pair of cicada wings and has worn them with pride ever since. He's taken care of Vixenpool for as long as she's been alive, and was overjoyed when she told him he was like a father to her. Though he'd have to share the fatherly role with Aloeblaze, who he didn't actually like well, but respected nontheless.

When a hawk tries to take Redkit, he ran into action and saved her life. Then later on he saved Ferretshine from a monster, losing a life in the process.

With their shared love of Vixenpool, Aloeblaze and Bitestar decided to become mates. He began coming along with Aloeblaze on his herb gathering and taking care of the burial ground, and they both put their differences aside and even fell a little bit in love. No one batted an eye.

Bitestar and Aloeblaze ended up having two kits, Martenkit and Tornkit. They were his everything, and for a while all seemed right in the world. But then Tornkit was almost taken by a hawk. Bitestar rushed in and saved him, but his son was wounded. Though both fathers tried their best, it proved too great for his little body and he died. Bitestar was completely devastated. He felt like nothing would ever be the same... and nothing was. The relationship between the two toms began to crumble, and Bitestar's hurt grew with Aloeblaze's coldness. They decided to break up, leaving nothing but bitter hatred towards each other.

He'd never let that get in the way of caring for Vixenpool and Martenmoth. Yet as the moons go by, he begins to doubt his leadership...

While out on a patrol by himself, he finds a loner named Spider. They talk for awhile and she decides to join CloveClan with her kit, Shadowkit.

When Heathpelt decided to retire, he appointed Vixenpool as the new deputy. Despite some questioning his choice, he stuck by it, truly believing that they would be a good leader when the time comes.

After losing a life fighting the deputy of CressClan, he decided to declare war on them.
