Maryn is the most sociable out of her friend group, making friends has never been hard for her. She has no enemies, and it’s extremely easy for her to convince others to share an opinion she holds dear.
Early Life
Maryn never really got along with her family, but things between them were never tense. She chose to turn to her friends and teachers for connections, and her family knew of it, but none bothered to step in and form a bond with her, knowing she was already making her mark on the world and none of them saw the point in making an attempt to truly be involved in her life. She was fond of marine life, and she vowed to make a real change for the benefit of sea creatures.
College
As Maryn entered college, she remained true to her childhood wish, majoring in Marine Biology and becoming an activist for ocean life. She was doing well in life, and she was happy; it was when her 19th birthday approached that her mother and older brother, Ivainn, made an attempt to reconnect with her. She awkwardly accepted this, allowing Ivainn to spend her birthday with her, in which her acceptance and open heartedness ultimately led to her demise.
Rebirth
Maryn was never actually “reborn”, but some of her scarce memories, along with her personality and interests were uploaded and created into an AI by her friend Molly in an attempt to cope with the loss of her beloved friend. Em, the name of the AI, was soon made aware of this reality, becoming unstable and emotional for a while before accepting it and building a new identity for herself.
