He belongs to Underlies, an alternative universe where the air is infected by a virus called "Mentimorphosis", which blocks the hability to tell the truth. The virus was created by Lie!Gaster, being him the first to experience the virus through inyections, causing him to go insane due to the amount he injected to himself. After him, Sans was the second to experience the virus in the same way as Gaster. Sans after the incident lost his sanaty, forgoting who he was, so Gaster gave him a new name, "Sieka".

It's very complicated to understand his personality because they usually fake their "positive" emotions or feelings. Sometimes he's happy or being annoying but immediately turns into being very grumpy or angry like most of the time. He's also really good at lying and very good at detecting lies. Usually he can't tell the truth, in rare cases he does.

Sieka sees him as his little brother, so he protects him at any cost, even at dead. He was the first one to be friends with Py when he joined to Viuqka's band.

Cran most of the time is annoying Sieka, and usually Cran makes Py's life imposible, which caused Sieka to hate him, only protecting him because Py and Cran are in the same body.
