Iza

(Theme: Astrology)

Iza is a gifted Star Witch, able to take guidance from the movements of the heavens.  She cannot say with perfect precision what the future will hold (no clairvoyant can), but she can use her insights to give timely council and comfort when needed.  If an event is mutable, Iza can guide her clients through a troublesome time and give them warning of potential dangers.  If an event is "fixed" and unchangeable, she councils them on how to best shoulder their fates and mitigate the worst effects.  Clairvoyant and counsel both, much of her work involves helping her clients cope with misfortune by finding other areas in their lives might bring joy and comfort. 

Her work requires knowledge of the stars as much as it does knowledge of earthly matters (especially of her clients!)  For this she turns to her friend Lynn, a unicorn without specific magic skills, but who is a wonder at research.  Lynn gives Iza dossiers on each of her clients so that she can know what queries to bring to the stars.

When not working, Iza enjoys stargazing, travelling, and shopping for clothes.  Lynn is trying to convince her to adopt a cat (or three) . . .

Drawing Pointers:

• Draw Her In: structured, but body-conscious outfits.  If not fantasy-style, then think shirt-dresses and other tailored outfits.  Wears dresses or pants.  (Think Katherine Hepburn if going with masculine wear.)
