- Personality Decription –
When it comes to swell fellas, Flick is as genuine as a shiny, new penny. With a head full of ideas and a body full of unlimited amounts of energy, Flick is the kind of guy who will strike up a friendly conversation with anyone, even the drunk guy at the bar, or the poorly-dressed slob at your best friend's wedding. This friendliness isn't always so warmly received, which is disappointing to him, but despite this, he is a diehard optimist who either makes a friend or moves on and finds it easy to forgive (and to forget). Although he does his best to be polite and courteous to others, he can be inappropriate or ill-mannered at times--a completely unintentional act due to his obliviousness.
Truth be told, he is a simple humanoid whose forte isn't in theoretical or academic knowledge and finds it hard to learn from his mistakes, but for what he lacks in abstracts, he makes up for it in bounds with his physical, athletic nature and keen sense of awareness and excels in visual and spatial learning. That said, Flick loves to both watch and play sports and perform parkour, not unlike the world-renowned Sonic the Hedgehog. He can also be quite thoughtful and genuinely enjoys helping others out, paying compliments, and giving out small, inexpensive gifts. And when it comes to women, he greatly appreciates and idealizes the feminine mystique without any ability to understand what makes women so magical--or understand women in general. Time and time again, his significant others have taken advantage of his naivete and honest, giving nature, but through it all, he still believes in love and seeks the perfect girl--truly a guy who is led by his heart!
- Bio –
Flick is a resident of North Isle, an island that is part of a continent on the Western-most side of Planet Mobius. It's a quiet part of the world where the nefarious Dr. Eggman rarely ever terrorizes due to Sonic's repeated thwarting of his plans for world domination. All of the action between Sonic and Eggman mostly takes place over on the Southeastern side of the planet, and while Flick is most grateful for this peace, he is also a bit bored from the lack of action that he gets to miss out on, too. On North Isle, he leads an easygoing, relatively normal life as a Security guard for the Island's stronghold and permanent home for Sonic CD's Time Stones--North Isle Fort. Taking the job believing that he may be able to stop inevitable break-ins by jewel thieves, there have been no such thieves during his employment--leaving poor Flick to dream about becoming a hero while he idly sweeps the courtyard of debris and performs security checks for the tourists that visit. However, tensions over in the East have been rising steadily, and, after a mass money-laundering cyber-breach of every major insurance company in North Isle, a resistance has formed in order to fight against what many suspect to be one of Eggman's most heinous crimes yet. Without thinking, Flick quits his job in order to become an official Crown Maverick in order to protect his way of life and serve justice to the vile and conniving! Can he become the hero that he's always dreamed of being? Adventure-ho!
- Attire -
Flick can generally be seen in his Crown Maverick uniform, which consists of a khaki denim vest, a pair of khaki cargo pants, and grey half-fingered gloves (he's 75% human, he needs to wear clothes to be decent!), but on his off days, he often likes to take it easy and wear an open, green vest and his favorite pair of maroon shorts. The latter is definitely the shabbier look of the two. He also has a pair of red, blue and white sneakers that he's fond of wearing. He goes through shoes very quickly, however, so he can never get too attached to one pair of shoes.
On his head, Flick wears a pair of teal-tinted goggles (they're mostly just for show--he rarely ever puts them over his eyes), and he has two eyebrow piercings over his right eyebrow.
- Equipment -
Weapons: Specialized titanium sledgehammer and axe for fighting robots. He may also occasionally carry devices that disengage harmful, radioactive waves from machines and robots or devices that may override the robot's system and cause it to explode.
General Tools: Flick uses standard issue multi-tools (Skeleton key, lock-pick, knife, bottle-opener--all the essentials!) and he might also keep some paracord on him
- Abilities/Skills/Talents/Powers -
Superhuman Traits: As a scientifically engineered humanoid species, he possesses powers that are more powerful than that of a human, but less powerful than that of a "Sonic" breed. So, while Sonic and his friends can achieve impossible speeds and massive feats of strength, Flick possesses incredible feats--by human standards. One of Flick's extraordinary abilities is being able to run very fast--a blazing 100 MPH (160 KPH). Again, this is only impressive when taken into account that the fastest human being can run about 37 MPH. Flick's legs are also incredibly strong (as they're his favorite thing to work out), and he is incredibly flexible and double-jointed--easily able to curl his tall body into a ball and perform multiple flips in the air. He's fantastic at parkour, a favorite hobby of his.
Talents: Useful talents? He is able to adapt to the environment very quickly and is exceptionally good at mastering physical skills, like dodging obstacles, catching projectiles (moving at reasonable speeds), and is naturally acrobatic. Too, he is an excellent survivor and heals up very nicely when he becomes wounded.
Less useful talents? He can move to the music like it's nobody's business, even if he never learned how to dance. That, and he can eat, and digest, (you get the idea) twice the amount of what one person can. That's a lotta food!
Combat Skills: Ball attack (similar to Classic Sonic's simple attack without homing abilities), trained in the CMC's specialized fighting style (specific for taking down robotic enemies melee style), possesses some knowledge of martial arts.
Weapon Skills: Flick is trained to use multiple weapons that are specialized in taking down robotic enemies, like wielding a large sledgehammer or axe that, when combined with his speed, can obliterate some of Eggman's smaller robots. He can also operate turrets if necessary.
Special Training: Flick is trained in handling security breaches of the Crown Maverick Corps headquarters and has completed a training program that was tailor made for humanoid hedgehogs like himself.
