they're relatively goofy, and they're usually all bark and no bite. once a situation - that mallory got themselves in in the first place - gets too dangerous, they'll try to smooth talk their way out of it, or play the classic "wuh-huh-hey guys, it was all nothing but a big joke!" card.

mal and brass are essentially joined at the hip. business partners and then some, the two are inseparable, and come across like some kind of unintentional comedy duo. mallory tries to stay in line for them, though they falter from time to time.
meeting exclusively at a shared market, the two butt heads often enough for other vendors to know something's bound to happen should they be in the same area together. mallory simply finds entertainment in picking on luwel, and finds his reactions amusing.
mal and keith met when the cacturne was brought along by luwel to "deal" with their meddling. finding mallory relatively harmless outside of being a pest now and then, the two wound up finding eachother to be great company, and enjoy bouncing off of eachother.
