Echo Crystalhymn

At a young age, Echo bit off her tongue in an accident, apparently while roughhousing with another cub. The damage couldn't be salvaged, and so Echo adapted; sign language and quick-paced writing are her main modes of communication now. She is still able to make sound, of course--laughter, growling, scoffing, and even humming to her own music--but cannot form the words she once could.

As a battlebard, Echo plays her music on the battlefield. As a herald, she can attune to Glint's power, creating a ghostly "music" she plays to; the song, somehow, grants her allies heightened ability. Her ability to "sense" can come in handy if an enemy is hidden.

While pretty social and happy to chat for the most part, the communication barrier can be a slight challenge (which is why she prefers to perform--she feels she can better talk through her music). Echo is not the type to treat others unfairly, only when they've made a fool of themselves to begin with. Despises being talked down to, so she'll sometimes get back at those she feels deserves it.
