Profile
Alexander
calm . intelligent . aloof
“Have a drink and tell me all about it.”
Alex is a man with little confidence. If anything, he was called a ghost— takes little space, doesn’t make himself known, and only speaks when spoken to. His general attire doesn’t help— it’s usually unflattering and rather plain. Not to mention he doesn’t have any temper for the most part. He doesn’t think much of himself nor does he particularly care about other people. However, he’s intrigued by the stories others will tell him at work.
At work, he takes his glasses off and puts on a smile as one does in the service industry and becomes Alec. It’s only then that he gets to indulge in the one thing that intrigues him— how easily people open up to their bartender. It’s the few times where he’s openly charismatic and is able to easily pull the secrets from people as they drink.
Character
Alex can always be found in baggy and unflattering clothing when he’s not working. In fact, he doesn’t care to get out much unless he’s taking a trip out of the city to enjoy himself in more rural parts. The park is as close he gets most days otherwise.
He wears glasses, because of being nearsighted, and has a piercing in each lobe. The only time he’s not wearing his glasses is during work. To which he wears contacts. Keeping his hair short, he can style it to either side or even slick it back like he does for work sometimes. Speaking of work, he abides by a strict dress code of black slacks, white button-up, black vest, and a black tie to pull it all together.
Aesthetic
GRAYSCALE
Alex has a quiet life for the most part. There’s nothing extraordinary to be spoken of. Much like himself, as far as he’s concerned. He moves through life quietly and efficiently with little to no damage to others. Especially with how he keeps to himself.
As an only child to kind yet busy parents, he’s comfortable with being alone. He does have a few friends, those that have stuck out to be around him. One of them, concerned for him, offers him a job at a bar they know— run by an acquaintance. Alex has always been rather good at mixing drinks during get togethers. What no one expects is for Alex to take to it so easily.
While he’d prefer being comfortable and outside in nature, he flourishes behind the bar once he gets used to it. Gone is the shy and quiet man. Instead, he invests his time into getting to know his customers and allowing them to spill their stories and hearts to him with ease.
Even so, they’re all quite the same. It gives little color to his black and white world. Nothing that truly piques his curiosity or excites him like a good walk along the riverbank would. At least, until he meets one person in particular.
VIBRANT
The night Typhon walked into the bar was something else. It was as if all the color came to his world. He was hooked on any word that stumbled from those lips and undeniably pliant when it came to following the words that were said.
Saying yes to wanting to learn more about this beautiful creature was easy. He didn’t hesitate and allowed himself to bite at the baited hook. Whether he understood at the time or not; he takes what Typhon gives him— rough and blunt actions and words. Yet he can’t help but be intrigued and want to know more.
Falling in love was never his plan. Alex has never had even a crush on anyone. These new feelings he gets from Typhon are something he doesn’t understand and allows to slowly work through with Typhon’s help.
Notes
- Has heterochromatic eyes (one blue, one orange)
- Calls Typhon ‘Tyty’ in private, never in public
- While easy to blush, it’s not the same as making him flustered, something only Typhon manages with ease
- Enjoys learning about people but would rather be out in nature and enjoying it
- Quite the honor student and made his parents proud. They’re the only thing that makes him nervous when considering taking Typhon to meet them.
Relationships
Typhon [ partner ]
While he never expected to fall in love, he’d do anything to make sure that he can see his beautiful Tyty smile. While he may doubt himself, he never doubts Typhon. Giving most, if not all, of his firsts to this demon is far easier than he’d ever admit aloud to anyone but his lover.
