"i just want what's mine."
An almost normal dude - at the very least he could have been, in another lifetime. Instead, in this lifetime Ben is Harley's resentful, bitter and obsessive ex-boyfriend and ex-fiance. Wants vengeance on Liridon and, by extension, Harley.
PERSONALITY
Though educated and not at all unintelligent, Ben is often lazy, short-sighted, and easily blinded by his anger and jealousy. Sarcastic and not very friendly, but usually polite - unless you're Liridon. He used to be nicer, but his positive qualities have diminished over the years.

BIOGRAPHY
UPBRINGING
The only child of Buick and Audi Thomson, he had an extremely normal childhood - including the incredibly mundane divorce of his parents when he was about twelve. Having a split custody arrangement, Ben would go back and forth between the two households. Ben was usually a slacker who was never as ambitious as David - while his mother hoped he would be more of an achiever. As a result, Ben generally had a better relationship with his father who was generally laidback.
BACKSTORY
After graduating from college with an engineering degree he got a position as a mechatronics engineer at Black Diamond Labs, part of the Mechanical Advancements Division. Though he'd known Harley for years, he didn't initiate a relationship with her until they had been co-workers at BD Labs for months, and he thought things were going smoothly until Liridon entered their lives. After Ben and David were fired from BD Labs he would join David as current engineer and henchman for Cursed Orlov.
RELATIONS
Childhood best friends. Ben often finds David's antics mildly annoying, but tolerates him for whatever reason he does. Despite this, Ben values his opinions above all else.
Ben simultaniously desires and resents Harley. He doesn't want her back, per say... but he can't understand why she'd leave him - and for a stupid robot, no less.
Ben blames Liridon for everything wrong in his life, and everything that went wrong in his relationship. He wants nothing more than for Liridon to suffer for it.

- Ben's design was loosely based on an early concept for a humanized Liridon.
