This world is a fantasy world filled with various species and races. Many monsters and beasts dominate uncivilized areas and are considered dangerous to humanity. Due to this, there is a constant need for warriors and fighters to help defend civilizations. Mercenary groups and agencies are prevalent throughout the world.
The expansive ocean is constantly brewing with storms which make travel by sea risky. Most individuals rely on walking, flying, airships, and/or other ground vehicles to travel.
As this world is not like our world, there are various differences.
- There are different time keeping mechanisms. This means that their days and years are kept track of differently and may depend on race (i.e. Tarakonae). Listed birthdays are essentially converted into the units we use.
- Real-life countries and such do not exist here, so various elements don't follow real-world customs (such as foreign languages and cultures). For example, Sull's last name is Vautour, which is French for "vulture." France doesn't exist in this specific world so the proper French pronounciation doesn't apply. This also means that ethnicities do not exist here.
- There are multiple different fictional languages in this world, but we will stick with English to keep it simple.
