Family

On Planet Hocotate, Liamie provides for her elderly parents and her toddler daughter, Vicky who she had from an unknown father. Liamie seems to miss them, especially her baby.

Comanding style

As a Pikmin commander, Liamie distinguishes herself by her teal light and overalls. Her horn sounds similar to a recorder. She may be easily distracted and victim of the local fauna but she loves the Pikmin family. Her Treasure Hoard entries present a surprising amount of insight about what the objects may have been useful for. She writes some moving journaling entries in place of her colleague Heidi.

About

Liamie is a xenoarchaeologist who is sent to work on PNF-404 from Planet Hocotate. This is her first intergalactic expedition for Hocotate’s Archaeological Museum, which needs to find as many treasures as they could in order to properly study the planet’s mysterious history and, secretly, claim a primacy over Koppai’s own museum. This is also Liamie’s first proper job she got after a turbulent academic career she concluded with a bachelor’s degree she obtained much later than her peers. After some minor jobs, she was the only one who signed up for a mission which can keep her busy even for months, motivated by the need of giving a better lifestyle to her parents and her daughter, with whom she lives. Despite her responsibilities, Liamie can’t handle finances really well, as she told Heidi she spent a month’s salary at her previous jobs at claw machines in an attempt to catch a plush for her daughter.

Liamie has a certain difficulty to keep focused and is easily distracted by her constant mind wandering, which combined with her ridiculously low physical awareness, makes her the ideal victim of the local fauna so she has to be constantly saved and scolded by her younger colleague Heidi.

Overall, her general attitude is quite friendly and laid-back: while she isn’t afraid of the enemies she has to battle, she can feel guilty if the Pikmin lose their lives from her distraction. She can mourn these moments in her logbook, as well she argues she feels a parallelism between her life and the little plants’ evolution history. When nervous, Liamie can eat even if she isn’t hungry, as claimed by Heidi’s usual laments.

While not the most efficient leader, Liamie is good at the job she was recruited for. As recorded by her notes on Piklopedia and Treasure hoard, Liamie can write some insights on PNF-404’s world and its inhabitants: while not as precise as Olimar's, her writings contain some poignant intuitions about the use of the object she has to retrieve and some speculations about who may have lived in the planet before the Pikmin and whether if they’re still alive or not. Sometimes her mind wanders so much that some theories can seem like conspiracies.
