as a demigod, sabiji has many different forms but this is the main one they use when using powers or to present themselves as a god-like creature. malum, admittedly, was probably just like. another "god possessing a creature as a vessel" situation but who knows rlly.
these forms can become progressively more or less demented depending on how much sabiji wants to scar people who see him
"malum" is his true ( at least, his most comprehensible ) form as a demigod.
