One of the main characters of Vivit, Act One and supporting character of Act Two, NERVA has no larger ambitions than simply surviving. She finds no greater comfort than slipping under the radar, being completely undetectable to others. Especially given how much she tends to loathe most people, finding them annoying or stupid (often both). She's pragmatic, and one to act in her own best interests first and foremost..

Created by one Samuel Carnegie, NERVA's entire existence was treated as nothing more than a glorified tech demo. An oddity, proof that humanity could achieve something great. Her creator just forgot to take into account that programming an android to prioritize its own existence is a one way ticket to having it run away - Which NERVA did. Encountering Ash, a listless young woman eager to help her, NERVA took the opportunity, believing that having a human companion would help her blend in better. She was sorely mistaken, of course.
