Formerly a Vashoth mercenary, Yasin's trying her best to acclimate to the incredible situation she's caught up in. A Qunari mage, the opposite of everything the Chantry stands for, now being worshipped as the Herald of Andraste? She's not even sure if she believes in Andraste, so it's been a wild ride. She certainly doesn't appreciate all this sudden pressure to be some sort of messiah. She's been trying to get her bearings and somehow make this Inquisition successful, and her advisors and other allies are all very cool, so she thinks they might actually be able to succeed.

Origin

A vashoth mercenary who spent half her life on the battlefield, Yasin grew up hearing the Qun's flaws. She actually doesn't mind it so much and would thrive there if she wasn't a mage.

DAI

She got wrapped up in the Chantry-aligned Inquisition and now is worried that her titles will overshadow her real self. She named her horse Qala.

Josephine

Yasin can't figure out a suitable way to propose to her. This is a very important problem that requires her full attention. Josephine is the visage of loveliness, mercy wrapped up in understanding. What's a useless lesbian to do?

Leliana

Yasin has a lot of respect for Leliana, especially since she became Divine and shook up the Chantry. However, her bitterness is making her unhappy. Yasin's worried.

Cullen

It took Yasin a bit to warm up to a former templar who still holds restrictive views on mages, but she's glad they've become friends. They both want what's best for Thedas.

Cassandra

Cassandra is very intimidating and she and Yasin clashed at first, but now they're friends. She's kind of cute, really, and she's slow but she comes around eventually.

Iron Bull

Yasin was there for Bull through a lot and there are things they can't talk about with anyone else. They go out drinking together. Yasin would love to join his mercenary band, but she's not sure Josephine will let her.

Blackwall

They were instant best friends. Yasin wishes Blackwall could've trusted her a bit more, but understands it was more about a lack of self-acceptance than about her. She hopes he'll find peace with himself someday.

Varric

He's the ultimate friend, caring and thoughtful without being overbearing. Yasin owes him a great debt for what happened with Hawke. She loves listening to him talk.

Cole

Cole is the little brother Yasin never had. She loves watching him do his thing and encourages him to find his own way. If you mess with him, watch out.

Sera

It took a bit to get used to her way of talking, but she's fascinating and fun. Yasin's hoping she won't regret pranking everyone with her.

Solas

Yasin loved learning all sorts of things from Solas, even though he was kind of racist. She respected him as a fellow mage. Now, she's grateful to him for giving her something else to focus on. She wouldn't admit it, but she does understand why he's doing the things he is. That doesn't make it right.

Vivienne

Yasin had a crush on Vivienne, but she was both terrifying and uninterested. She respects and admires her, even though they disagree about circles.

Dorian

Poor Dorian had to sit through hours upon hours of lesbian angst as Yasin repeatedly failed to flirt with Josephine. That's probably why he's run off to Tevinter.
