Theme

Curio with big passion, insecurities, and lots of love to give. Terra grew up in a close-knit community at Paydo Moga with their parents and couple siblings. Born to a archeologist and engineer parents they've always had a knack for curiosity, creativity and crafty hands which eventually developed into big passion towards artisanry, especially with clay and stonework, cause of course that’s what the great desert is all about: stony landscapes as far as eyes could reach, which In a way was beautiful in itself, at least in their opinion.

Around their teen years Terra lost one of their parents in a failed expedition attempt at the ruins in the heart of the desert and from that moment they’ve held a deep-rooted fear and scorn for archeology which they are trying to grow out of. It’s not right for them to blame the guild or archeology itself,  they know this, it’s just a painful reminder. As the oldest sibling they also picked up the habit of helping around the house and taking care of their younger siblings by the time which they also attempted to gain some extra coin by selling their pottery and other things that they used to love to craft.

As years passed and they and their family grew older they eventually started to dream about other places out there, Scatterstar Isles were vast after all, who knew what was waiting out there! Not to mention the uncharted parts of the world.. They would often love nothing more than to hear stories from passing by curios who happened to buy their wares or from those who were bragging about their exploits at the local tavern. But still, they remained, held in place by their feelings of responsibility and anxiety, after all who would look after their family if not them? However, their close friends and caring community however had other ideas..

..Eventually friends and family started to encourage Terra to head out into the world, to follow their old passion of artisanry. The community even gathered together small savings to help Terra in their journey. Eventually Terra finally gathered their courage and savings and headed out into the world with the help of passing by caravan that was in their way to Seajewel to trade their goods and what greater place to try starting to to get some name for themselves than the bustling trading hub of seaport city Terra thought, also they were fascinated by the thought of finally seeing the southern ocean after being surrounded by dry, sandy, stony desert for all their life.

Now they’ve set their foot into a new part of their life, figuratively and literally, and are both anxious and excited to learn what the world has to offer while putting In their best effort to start a little merchant business of their own.

Other

  • When they first settled to Seajewel they were scammed by folk from Jun Nazu. Nowadays they do know better and have grown bit more of a backbone for themselves.
  • Terra loves colorful and comfy clothes, colorful fabrics also remind them of cloth turbines back home. They also love to put their own spin on things with their own little ceramic beads, accessories, embroidery and so forth.
  • Terra loves their craft but they’re a bit anxious about the competition and the thought of if they really have what it takes to be in the merchant guild.
  • Their parents used to tell tales of the tragic lovers Tenami and Salniliphus, and seeing the statues for the first time when Terra visited the merchant guild is a fond memory to them. Bit of a romantic softie.
  • Terra wants to eventually try setting up ceramic arts and pottery classes, but hasn't quite found the time or funds just yet.
  • Respects tradition but is also open to new ideas and still devoted to their hometown patron the overseer
  • Has a fondness for odd knick knacks, broken things and so forth. Loves recycling stuff that some might have thrown away in their art. Are their home cluttered with all sorts of trinkets you ask? Absolutely.
