Polaris Amry Klepsky Comet is one of the Comet parents. He's a freelance sculpture artist that does artwork like this for a living. Working with sculptures has been a huge part of their life for quite a while, even going back to the old days, and pursuing it as a career has been very positive for it.

Polly does not have a strong memory due to brain freezing from TUC, so it has to use special reminders to keep track of information like notebooks and journals and binders. He struggles to emote strongly, but this doesn't mean he isn't caring or supportive to others. Their inability to remember the past creates a small disconnect between them and their partners simply because they struggle to hurt a lot over something it can't really remember.

Polly is a very caring and kind parent - they don't remember their actual family, so having kids and partners is basically making the only family they've ever known. It feels a strong connection to all of its kids because of these reasons, and there's a layer of understanding within him that isn't quite completely there with the other parents. Polly is close with all of the kids equally due to this ability to connect with them.

TRAITS

Drowsy

TUC takes a lot of its energy, so Polly is tired almost all the time. He sleeps in later than anyone else, goes to bed early, and prefers to not do a whole lot if he doesn't have to. Polly doesn't really like sleeping all the time, admittedly, but can't help it.

Brain fog

Polly experiences a lot of brain fog, including sudden dissociation and forgetting what he's doing or where he is briefly until reminded by someone else. Sometimes she stops in the middle of a task because she forgot what she was trying to do.

Kleptomaniac

Polly has a horrible compulsion to take things that don't belong to them. They're usually small things that won't be noticed, especially small shiny things. He still does this even after all these years...
