Chosen by the leader before him to continue on his bloodline, young Greystar was to be the next leader of HollowClan. Raised under strict conditions, Greystar grew into a gruff, and stern cat with constant worries on his mind, for his family, and the future of the dynasty. These worries grew when his youngest son, QuailBlaze, went missing, chosen to be the next leader of the dynasty after Greystar, leaving his two infant kits, and their distraught mother. Greystar, after consideration, chose his grandson, Silverkit, to be his heir. Little did he know that his past was finally catching up to him, and it lingered around his poor grandson.
Before Greystar was chosen, Falconstar, his predecessor, had exiled his pregnant mate due to unknown circumstances, much to the shock of the Clan, before Greypaw, soon to be Greyhowl, was chosen as Falconstar’s heir. Greystar had recently become an orphan due to his parent’s untimely death, and Falconstar was the only family he’s ever known. Trained to be calculating, clever, and tough, Greypaw was molded into the perfect leader, but was abused by his adopted father and leader verbally into believing he cannot do no wrong in order to protect his loved ones. Soon, Greypaw received his warrior name, and officially became the deputy of HollowClan. Towards the end of Falconstar’s life, a mysterious rouge attacked camp, claiming to the rightful heir to the dynasty, and he was back to rid of Falconstar, taking his revenge. He succeeded in killing the old leader, but was quickly subdued and killed by Greyhowl. On the rogues dying breath, he sworn he would reclaim what was his, bleeding to death over the camp grounds. Greystar soon ascended to leader, and lead his clan with the utmost poise and prestige. But doubt never left his mind when he was faced with mentoring his social inept grandson, along with the presence that seemed to cast a shadow around him.
Greystar struggles to connect to people, specially his two sons, the blind medicine cat, Redwood, and his previous heir, Quailblaze. Due to his lack of parents, and the abuse he endeared from Falconstar, made him scared to get close to his sons, inevitably letting his mate raise them, waiting till they became of age to properly interact and train them. Quickly he realized Redwood, despite his ability, showed promise, but not enough to be an effective leader, and ultimately was discouraged by Greystar out of fear for his eldest so , and loyalty to the dynasty in taking another path, which led poor Redwood to become a medicine cat. Quailblaze, a handsome ginger tom with such charism and good qualities though, would make the perfect leader! That was, until his disappeared one day..
He sheds quite a lot due to his puffy coat of fur
While he rarely gets mad, he can have a temper, usually only his mate can calm him down
He hates failure, and fears he’ll let down Falconstar, his clan, and family

Greystar’s grandson, who reminded the old leader too much of his younger self. He loves him dearly, but struggles to relate to him sometimes. He sometimes comes on too strong, due to Falconstar’s teachings, but tries his best to raise the young cat to be the best he can be
Greystar’s eldest son; while being born blind, he showed great promise to becoming a strong and capable warrior, yet Greystar’s doubts and concerns for his son caused him to push Redwood away from the warrior life, and eventually Redwood became a medicine cat. Redwood and Greystar’s relationship, while respectful, was strained due to this outcome, Greystar feeling guilty in basically ruin his son’s dream. He hopes one day, the blind cat will forgive him for his sins.
The younger, and more extroverted son of Greystar; he was the perfect candidate to become leader. Popular among his clanmates, a great hunter, fighter, and leader, Greystar couldn’t be more happy. Even still, their relationship was- strange. Greystar, unlike his training with his grandson, was much more stricter in his ways towards Quailblaze, coming down on him just as hard as Falconstar did to him, which drove a flip flop mentality to their relationship. He’d be praised, and then ridiculed constantly by his stress-worn father. One day, Quailblaze never returned back to camp. Greystar sent search parties after search parties, but no one could find him, not even a whiff of his scent. Devastation befell over Greystar, and he blamed himself for his son’s disappearance. It is unknown where Quailblaze is, or, if he even is still alive. All anyone knows, was he left his mate and children behind to deal with the aftermath of his leave.
