Early life

Xheruk was the youngest amongst 3 other brothers, his parents were rich nobles in Cambria who tried to keep their good status by arranging marriages with their sons and making deals with other families. This wasn't acceptable by other nobles of even higher status who decided to take matters into their own hands and "send a message" to the family by murdering Xheruk's 3 eldest brothers. He only managed to save himself because he was too young and sickly and was in his parents care at the time.

One of Xheruk's oldest sibling managed to survive the attack but his parents decided to hide him from the world, fearing that he would be targeted once more for surviving, keeping this as a secret from Xheruk as well so he didn't tell anyone else, as he was too young to understand the complexity and gravity of the situation. Xheruk grew up quite lonely and overprotected due to these circumstances, while also being sickly and frail often.

Being disciplined in fine arts and healing magic since a young age, Xheruk flourished in these fields and followed strict rules since he could remember. Playing the harp, singing, painting, swimming, fencing, riding horses, he did all the things fancy kids do. But due to his parents fear of being targeted he always had a guard by his side, a guard that was changed every certain time in fear of other noble houses. He didn't grow attached to any of them, rarely having alone time due to this, but being detached from his protector.

To save him from a horrible fait, Xheruk's parents decided to marry him off to a lesser noble in hopes of not having trouble with higher houses, to keep themselves and their son "in line". Xheruk grew tired of his life of luxury and blissful ignorance inside his house and decided to take this event as a chance to throw everything out the window and do whatever he wanted.

He ran away from home hours before his wedding, leaving his (already pregnant by other) bride to be at the altar, venturing into the world with only a horse and a few supplies, happy to finally be free, unaware of the many dangers ahead.

Demons, blood and necromancy era

Xheruk found himself in a remote village away from his fancy home, excited to be part of it but being slapped in the face by reality. This is where he met a tall dark knight called Helios and reunited with a school acquaintance, Aries, who asked a favor of him.

He continued his journey across the map, going to places he'd never been to and finding out stuff he'd never imagined he would see in his life. Early in his travels he encountered undead people and saw gore for the first time, changing his perspective on things quite quickly. He also saw the dead of someone who tried to infiltrate and spy on him and his group, things that changed something in him permanently.

After witnessing such distressing things he bowed to learn more in hopes to help out people, finding himself with forbidden blood magic, which he deemed quite useful in mixture with healing magic to treat more complex wounds, however this magic was forbidden as it was linked to necromancy and controling others against their will. He didn't care about those uses and started to learn it in secret with the help of Aries.

He found himself learning about demons and cults that used blood magic in their rituals, he didn't pay mind to those but his indifference towards the situation made it grow worse and Xheruk felt guilty for ignoring the signals of a demon rising and using blood magic to control an entire village. Later on he took the blame for not doing anything and did whatever he could to send that demon back to his dimension.

After getting involved with criminals, burning an entire black market, killing the cultist leader twice and sending this demon back to his dimension, Xheruk still had issues to deal with, such as nepotism and the pioneer of blood magic who kept growing his undead army for his own benefit. Pioneer who didn't care that his life had ended since he ended up getting away with all his crimes, experiments and had lived an artificially extended-long and fancy life with no regrets.

By allying himself with the bastard prince of Rahat he formed a small army to dethrone the current leader of Cambria and put a final stop to the nepotism in the city that let necromancers do their illegal business everywhere. He almost died in this ambush.

After the Caos

After killing the current leader of Cambria he finally decided to take matters into his own hands. Being of noble blood and coming from a well educated background, he did his best to replace the leader for the time being and put a stop to all the criminals running free, not leting them go free after all the caos that happened in the world.

He allowed people to study blood magic under very strict regulations and only to use it in beneficial ways for others. He thought that finally opening up another possibility of magic would make it less dangerous if it was studied "correctly" and having practitioners of it be licensed. He also decided to implement democracy instead of having the ruling of the place only be helf by elves of long-stablished bloodlines. He also added a counsil consisting of people from different backgrounds and places so everyone could discuss what was best for everyone instead of just benefiting those of the upper class.

Finally being free from all of this, he returned to his family to keep studying the benefits of blood magic with his new boyfriend Helios, who kept him company ever since they started growing closer during their travels. Not having to be forced to go into an unwanted marriage, they were free to be open with each other in public.

Thanks to being in charge, he wasn't afraid of the higher circle of nobles, this finally opened up the chance for his parents to show that one of his brothers was still alive and they could all finally reunite and be a family again.
