Design Notes;
- There is an eye under there. His emo bang is purely cosmetic.
- Mikoto is 5'10" / 179cm.
- The bridge of his nose is vaguely heart shaped, in the same way the nose of a skeleton would be.
- There are two little fwips of hair on either side of his head that are meant to be reminiscent of bat wings or horns.
- Has perpetual dead fish eyes--except for when he's talking about murder!
- Usually wearing some form of gloves, but not always. His favorites are a pair of black gloves with a bone pattern on them.
- His outfit is covered in red accessories, from his earrings, to the tassels on his shirt, to the thread around his neck.
- His purple kimono-style shirt is folded right over left--in the same style as the dead wear.
Trivia;
- Has several flower associations, including white lilies, spider lilies, and forget-me-nots.
- Has an excellent singing voice. His singing VC is dongdang. His speaking VC is Greg Chun as Adam (Nier Automata).
- Loves all murder mysteries equally, and has read every one he can get his hands on. However, his favorite murder mystery author is undoubtedly Agatha Christie.
- Entirely desensitized to most forms of gore. In fact, he even has favorites! Y'know, a totally normal thing to do.
- Polite to a fault. Calls people Mx. Lastname.
- Has burned through many a mortician's assistant--few can handle him, though the ones that stick around are rather fond of him. The opposite is also true.
Personality;
- A polite, even-toned young man with a love for mysteries and the macabre. He has the mannerisms of an 1800s gentleman--or perhaps a grandmother? It's hard to tell sometimnes. Point is, he's very eloquent and a bit old fashioned.
- Mikoto takes his job as a mortician very seriously. To him, the funeral is the last time a person's loved ones get to see them as they are, so it's important to him that he gets everything right. He considers it a privilege to help people mourn their loved ones properly, even if it means working with dead bodies.
- ...Not that he'd have any problem with that. Beneath his sincere passion for his work lies a much brighter passion for all the grisly, sickening ways a person can die. Mikoto adores investigating the deaths of his 'clients', whether that be just from the state of their bodies, or from unofficial field investigation. Point is, nothing gets his blood pumping like solving murder mysteries--and what's worse is how often his theories end up being right.
- He's perfectly aware of how unsettling this facet of himself is, and while he's sympathetic towards any discomfort his peers feel towards him for it, he makes no effort to hide it.
- He's always polite. Always always. He dislikes name-calling and never swears. Insults wash off his back like a duck, but if he believes he's offended someone for any reason other than the above, he'll apologize profusely.
