Karma is strange, to his core. Due to a malfunction, he was hatched much earlier than he should’ve been, resulting in intensive care as a hatchling to ensure his survival. Having no parental figures, he was raised in a group home under lab surveillance, studying how he grew closely, being such a frail child.

Despite appearing to be serene and level headed, Karma dually has an inferiority and a superiority complex. This can manifest in wild mood swings, and he’s prone to waxing lyrical about frightfully morbid things, before seeming to center himself and return to his calm disposition. He can also be astoundingly mean, acting haughty and self-important as he speaks down to whoever happens to be within his range.

Karma was studying psychology before having the maniac state that cost him his arm, a rather unlucky day for one of the fellow students, who discovered him after his arm was sliced to bits from a wind turbine. Karma was taken into intensive care after once more, before spending a year at a halfway house, where he learned the routine of life once more.

Now Karma works professionally with robotics, humbled by the loss of his arm. Or, well, as humble as he can be. He’s passionate about providing life-like mobility to amputees such as himself, building his own arm from piecemeal and working it to perfection.

Nevertheless, old habits die hard, and Karma will often lie and sneak about for no real reason. He’s extremely sharp, and thus has quite the propensity to be in places he’s not supposed to be, for reasons you won’t know until much later.
