Judy

Judy Bloom is very smart. Academically. Ultimately she is a dorky little ray of sunshine who doesn't know what's going on at any given moment, but the important thing is she gets to lead her friends on investigations and she loves doing it.

She doesn't believe in the occult, but boy does she want to believe. Her lack of belief in the existence of ghosts and monsters gets her into trouble reminiscent of an oblivious baby walking through a construction site. You cannot scare this girl. She's too busy being curious and amazed by the world around her that she never realizes that she is completely out of her depth.
