Personality: Riley is carefree and optimistic, always looking on the bright side of things. She loves to help her classmates and believes that her magical powers can resolve any problem. However, she doesn't fully understand her purpose, the scope of her powers, or the real danger they can pose. She often rushes into situations without thinking, which can sometimes make things worse. She also has a tendency to underestimate her opponents, thinking that her magic is enough to defeat them. Riley's carefree attitude can sometimes make her vulnerable to manipulation. She's also not very good at defending herself in a physical fight, relying too much on her defensive magic to protect her. Mainly looking to avoid confrontation at all costs.

In-Depth Look at Powers and Abilities: Riley's magical abilities are centered around the manipulation of light and illusions. She can bend, reflect, and refract light to create dazzling displays of color and patterns that can be both beautiful and distracting. She can also use her powers to create illusions that can make objects or people appear to be somewhere they are not, or to make herself invisible. In combat, Riley can use her illusions to confuse and disorient her opponents, making it easier for her to strike with her normal choice of some blunt object or escape from danger. She can create false static images of herself, making it difficult for her enemies to locate her. Also has been seen to use her powers to create barriers of light that can deflect or block weak incoming attacks. Riley's healing magic is also a significant part of her powers. Although she hasn't realized this ppotential on a consious level, she can use her light magic to speed up the natural healing process of small wounds and injuries. On a larger more realised scale, she is capable of purifying contaminated areas, such as polluted water sources or areas affected by natural disasters. The longterm effects of this specific healing magic hasn't been studied to the fullest and development is still ongoing, but current research has shown. It's not often she takes the support/healer role in battle as overusing her healing magic could take a significant amount of physical energy and runs the risk of overuse. Overusing her healing magic could also put Riley at risk of experiencing unintended consequences. For example, she may inadvertently transfer injuries or illnesses to herself or experience negative side effects if she uses her powers for too long or too frequently. If Riley overexerts herself by healing too many people or healing injuries that are too severe, she could also experience physical exhaustion and fatigue. She may need to take breaks to rest and recharge her energy.
A small slip-up for Riley could be something like creating a minor illusion that fails to deceive her opponents, or accidentally using a bit too much magic than needed during a healing session, resulting in her feeling fatigued for a few hours and needing to recharge. A trip to the messhall for some apple slices and juice should fix her right up..
