their lore never got the chance to be revealed during the actual friendlocke so. it's getting dumped here.
they were a human in their past life. their home life wasn't great, their parents weren't abusive but were neglectful, so they spent the majority of their time with their best friend. this friend had boyfriend and the three of them were a friend group (they don't have names yet so they'll be A and B for now). terramaws at first felt distrustful of B, but as they got to know him, their opinion changed and they began to trust him. on the outside, he seemed like the perfect partner for A, but A would talk about how B would get angry at them for being around terramaws or anyone else.
A and B only dated for a few months before separating after they had a fight. after the breakup, terramaws went to A's house to comfort them, when B came back to the house with a knife in hand. terramaws attempted to protect A, but died in the process, unable to save A.
their soul was transferred to the form of an alomomola after meeting trainer liz. this form didn't last long, as they were killed in a double battle by bianca's jolteon. this only further added to their anger and distrust of people, and their next form became a terrakion. they became extremely protective of trainer liz, as with this new form they'd be able to properly protect them and their teammates. even if deaths were outside of their control, they routinely blamed themselves for not being able to protect them.
