Gorgie is a chimpanzee-spider hybrid toon who is the son of Winnona and the older brother of Pasley and considered the brains of the group. Appearance wise, he more resembles his dead father, though his personality differs from both his parents..

Gorgie is a bookworm and a thinker, and prefers to plan things out before taking action, unlike the rest of his family. While he is an overly cautious toon, he is still highly protective of his family, and has fought against threats before with all he has. As a toon who commonly uses his free time to think, Gorgie has the habit of overthinking and tends to get self conscious about how he is perceived by others, mostly because he has the reputation as a book thief which is considered negatively strange. His sister normally helps him gain confidence again, and now his overthinking happens less than before, though it is still persistent in moments of weakness. Gorgie always tries to bring forth a rational solution to anything he can, to varying degrees of success, as a way to avoid direct conflict. Gorgie is not a fighter, and he doesn’t try to hide it, trying to compromise and work around fighting as a solution despite his mother and sisters insistence otherwise.
Background
Gorgie, from a young age, struggled with adapting to his environment due to his hybrid nature. Due to having a bare chest and being born in the winter in a poor living scenario, Winnona had to work hard and coddle him to make sure he made it through the night and the subsequent winter. This made Gorgie very reliant on his mother even after he could fit into proper clothes and the winter had passed, especially compared to his overactive and independent sister Pasley. As he grew older and finally steps away from depending exclusively on his mother, his focus turns on his dead father, who he resembles very closely. He feels as though he needs to live up to his father's legacy, despite his personality being drastically different from this missing figure. Gorgie comes around to being himself and boosting his own confidence during the Mystery conflict and is able to fully become independent.
