"I have lived a thousand lives and shall live a thousand more."
Basics
Thlaynlé is inspired by a knicknack given to me by my grandma. His name means "Fur like the Moon". He is the quiet guardian of the natural order of his forest and will only rarely intervene when necessary.
He is greatly imporant to me. In a sense he may be considered a comfort sona in that the thought of him brings me comfort. I have dubbed him as a spirit guide sona or daemon due to feeling he is imporant on a spiritual level.
Abilities
He is a spirit which takes the form of a rabbit jackalope and lives his life as a rabbit. He lives, dies, and is reborn in an endless cycle.
Personality
An intelligent creature he chooses to live his lives among wild rabbits living mostly as they do. He is a quiet watcher of the forest and rarely interacts with other intelligent creatures.
History
Long ago Frith made the world… And in that world Frith had many servants, one of which being the famed Black Rabbit of Inle. The Black Rabbit was a rabbit tasked with administering death to and for rabbits. Even so, he was and is still a rabbit and like all rabbits he too once yearned for a doe. And so he took for himself a lovely doe and did what the birds and the bees do. But being the harbinger of death it was never thought that the Black Rabbit could produce an offspring, he was thought to be sterol. Much to his horror the doe seeded and was heavy with kit, a kit who had no right to exist for it was the product of death. The Black Rabbit mourned for he knew if the doe kitted he would have to remove his child from the world for his job was not to bring life to Frith’s world. But Frith saw the pain and sorrow in the Black Rabbit’s heart and offered him a gift for his long life of service. The doe would produce one kit, but this rabbit would be no ordinary rabbit for he would be the child of death itself. This rabbit would walk with one paw in the world beyond the waking and one paw within the world of the living. He would live a thousand lives and a thousand more. He would live the life of every rabbit and die the death of every rabbit. He would be another servant if Frith. But Inle would never know that it was his son who’s life would be taken for to Inle his son would look like any other rabbit while he lived, and the two would only meet in those brief periods of death when he hopped the fields of dreams before being born again.
