Congealed Feel (Congeal.EXE)

Congealed Feel is a deleted version of Feel, one of the original designs for Sonic the Hedgehog! It is very nervous and most of the time scared, but it tries to get past these anxieties with optimism and an unsettling amount of hope in even the most dire of situations. If by any chance it encounters a hostile anomaly, its mood will quickly to that of a jarring and foreboding malice. Its most noteworthy features are its melted, warped appearance with various flickies merged into its body, distorted and barely recognizable.

It has the power to both repair and distort code and graphics. It tries to use this power for good, keeping the original game copy it is in preserved and keeping the inhabitants in it safe. Despite this power to fix the distorted, it has proven time and time again that it cannot fix itself with its power no matter how hard it tries. It also has the power to travel between different ROM Files/Universes, rather recklessly actually. It travels between many of them sporadically since it has a habit of feeling lonely. 

The Flickies trapped inside its mass will never escape, but this isn't bad for them as you might think, as they now have Congeal as both a caretaker and a host. They have gotten used to being trapped and apart of Congeal for so long that if they were separated, their very existence would be questioned and debated on forever in their heads. They are happy to be apart of Congeal if it means both it and them are safe.

Congeal resides in a ROM file of the Sonic Mega Collection for Gamecube, being hastily salvaged off an ex-intern's short-lived portfolio website. Its origins are mostly unknown, all that is known about it is it has been comfortably residing in the code for a VERY long time, occasionally watching the player from a distance or completely out of view. It has a strange fascination for those who play as Sonic compared to other playable characters...
