On the surface, Dongmei is able to seem cold and unfeeling to most. Due to this, she is able to control her emotions and how she responds to things well. Relationships.

Juno is Dongmei's partner. They started dating when Juno was 20 and Dongmei was 22.

Juno and Dongmei met in class together, and quickly became close friends. Dongmei was drawn to Juno's upbeat personality, their stories, and how colorful and kind they were. Juno was drawn to Dongmei's quietness, finding that her silence and calm demeanor was relaxing and grounding. They balanced each other perfectly. They started dating within a few months of knowing each other, and moved in with each other when Juno was 21 and Dongmei was 23. They live happily together.

Oliver is Juno's brother, and one of Dongmei's closest friends.

Oliver and Dongmei met shortly after she and Juno started dating, as Juno introduced Oliver as their brother. He and Dongmei grew to have a playful, sibling-like relationship. They will often hang out with each other to laugh and relax when they both need it.

Dongmei hates Mars, while he feels indifferent toward her.

Dongmei has known Mars for about a year, originally meeting him back when he and Sunny were still together. When Sunny and Mars' relationship grew unhealthy, Dongmei turned to support Sunny, and let Mars know that he would never be welcome in her presence again. She holds resentment toward him to this day.
