SUMMARY:
Red has a strange power: he can create small, nearly invisible web-like strings, gossamer thin but strong. It's a fairly benign power- until one day, he has to use it to defend himself. The day ends with his assailant in the hospital, half-strangled and terrified; the night ends with Red waking up with a similar cut, bloody and stained. In a small town, there's only one thing worse than an outsider, and that's a criminal. Sent to the local remedial school, Red has to find a way to survive long enough for his family to reclaim him.

Thread generation. Threads generate from fingertips, can mimic nerves and string sharpness can be changed. Can be used to puppet people, but any significant damage to the person can rebound and affect Red. Can be sensed by user, and can be sensed through, in a limited capacity.
