Though at first he appears quite vacantly kind and sweet, when you get to know him he becomes steadily more and more creepy and strange. He is very emotionally unstable; he tries to hide his issues and is usually fairly successful, but he is prone to breakdowns when things don’t go the way he wants and when he’s angry or jealous he gets extremely violent and dangerous.
He is very possessive of people. He tends to get very helicopter-y when he likes someone and will continually comment on the ways they spend their time and the company they keep under the guise of looking out for them, and he likes to take care of people a bit too much - he likes when people are utterly dependent on him, which is part of the reason why he is so particular about his plants. He is often intensely manipulative and a lot of the time he doesn’t even realise he’s doing it.

Created in the lab like the other colours, Jade was intended to be a sort of sweet and caring type. Unfortunately since he manages to put on a kind front nobody really noticed that he was secretly a bit strange and fucked up, and being taught by White mostly meant he just became a lot better at hiding how fucked up he is.
