The late-born son to a couple of furniture craftsmen, Lio was only eleven when they passed. Suddenly orphaned, he was taken in by his older brother, the prodigal magicial who was only kind of around. It was exciting at first, travelling in the back of a wagon, getting to see more of the world than any schoolhouse could show him- but that only lasted until his brother became possessed.

Things got harder after that- his brother quickly became a pariah, and his work began to dwindle. It wasn't long after that that Marsa returned to Scatterstar, and the media circus began terrorizing all possessed curio. It was then that Delshad made the split decision to move to somewhere more remote, and so they both moved out to the bog.

It's quieter out here, for one. More time to think- but more places to explore. And except for the summer scout groups, he's often the only kid his age for miles. Lio has made the decision not to complain, or cry about it- it's not like they had many options, after all, given his brother's 'condition.' He makes the best of it, no matter how much he misses his old home and friends.
