Umbra

This Emitter type allows the user to make and push out a shadowy energy from their body. This can extend out over a short range and has decent power and speed, capable of knocking back a grown adult with a single strike. The user can make and fire this from anywhere on their body. This can be used to replicate parts of the body, like making a swipe from their hand to knock someone down, and can move these parts to some degree, such as using them to move up a building. The force becomes stronger the darker it is around the user, increasing the range and power output of the energy, allowing them to extend the size and length of their attacks over long ranges and tossing cars aside with glancing blows. This gives the user a versatile power, their variety of options only growing more powerful in the dark. They can push out parts to block attacks, launch themselves around by hitting surfaces, intercept incoming attacks by firing out parts, augment their fighting style with shadowy additions, or simply use it to knock dirt off of their body. Though the Quirk will become far harder to control while in the dark, making it difficult to adjust and potentially leading to serious damage to people or their surroundings. The Quirk is dependent on it being dark to get the most out of it, so certain opponents or environmental factors can be an issue.
