Personality and Background
Atticus is a passionate angel who deeply values the opinions of those around him. Being the prime example of a social butterfly, Atticus relishes in the spotlight; he loves the idea of people relying on him, and his sole purpose in his eternal life is to be a source of inspiration to others. While his intentions are pure, the way he goes about them tends to come off as a bit... excessive. He is a very insistent man, and if he believes that there is a "right" way to do something, he will stand for that full-heartedly. While he is certainly willing to listen to other perspectives, it's kind of hard to sway his initial opinion. Atticus dances along the edge of self-righteousness at times. Though, despite his very prideful self-image, it's really easy to hurt his ego. His reactions to such negative occurrences always have a bit of dramatic flair to them, and he tends to dwell on them for quite a while afterwards.
Performing on stage has always been something Atticus found fulfillment in during his youth, so the angel joining a theater troupe long term later on wasn’t much of a surprise to those who knew him. He mainly works at a theater in the Celestial realm, but he also dabbles in smaller shows elsewhere when he finds the time. As a result of his careful consideration regarding how he presents himself, Atticus’ reputation in his community is overwhelmingly positive. He is constantly being praised by the audience and his co-workers alike, which only serves to fuel his growing ego even more. Whenever his constant stream of gratification is interrupted for whatever reason, Atticus grows agitated and may act a little petty.
While growing up, Atticus' parents weren't around very much. They tried their best to provide him with all the love and support needed to sustain a young angel, but alas, their time-consuming careers required them to make lengthy visits and business trips to the Haven, leaving Atticus alone most of the time. Even though they hired caretakers for Atticus, he still felt their absence deeply. During his teen years, Natalia's mother, Amber, acted as a sort of role model for him; feeling sorry for his unfavorable situation, she took Atticus under her wing.
Hobbies and Interests
When he isn't busy with work, Atticus enjoys indulging in romantic novels full of excitement and drama. Atticus is an avid lover of the arts, and he tries to immerse himself in thought-provoking works of entertainment whenever he can. He has a very specific lifestyle he wishes to achieve, and aligning his interests with this image he desires for himself is very important to him. Collecting records of music he enjoys is also something he likes to do in his spare time, and it isn’t uncommon to find him sharpening up his vocal cords for work-purposes or his personal leisure.
Atticus is very particular about his appearance. He uses various products and beauty treatments to ensure that his appearance is kept in good shape. While he gets made fun of for being so vain about his appearance at times, he tries his best not to let it get to him; it just means he’s doing a good job at maintaining his stylish image.
