Sylvester is curious and smart, especially for his age. He enjoys exploring and writing about the various things he sees. He always keeps a spare notebook on him as well as some pencils so that he can take notes whenever he feels the need to. He's a pretty good realistic sketcher and oftentimes sketches whatever he's writing about on the same page. He also likes to draw pictures of Eve because it makes her really happy to have them.
He can get angry a bit easily and doesn't like to be lied to or treated as a little child due to his age. He's pretty mature, though not quite so much as your typical adult.

Sylvester gets embarassed pretty easily, and can be a bit nervous around people. He oftentimes does cute, sweet things for Eve because he wants to make her happy. He can be awkward and sometimes blurts out random things that are on his mind, especially when he's nervous in the first place. Sometimes he tries to make jokes but he's not very good at it and things typically get awkward afterwards. 

He was the first of his friend group to discover Senro while exploring the forest. They have encountered him again many times after the initial encounter. 

He always wears a scarf, saying he likes how they feel. He oftentimes messes with it when he is nervous about something. His freckles are only on one side of his face, a defect he's had since birth. It embarasses him sometimes, but he's mostly gotten over it at this point in his life.

Sylvester's adoptive sister is Madaline, and his girlfriend is Eve! He was adopted in the same week his sister was, and they've grown up as siblings since they were under a year old. They know that they are adopted but it doesn't make a difference to them.
