This tempest of a cypher manifests a core of magic fire like the lightning-struck heart of a burning tree, and a dazzling mane of billowing clouds. He can command a small storm of his own, and even direct lightning from within that storm, harnessing the energy of the bolt that was his own demise
A serious individual, Caspar chooses his words carefully and with conviction. He tends to have a neutral approach to things and doesn't go against what happens naturally.
Oftentimes he will come across as rather cynical, though he will correct himself if he feels like he sounds too harsh.

This design is very flexible and most things can be played around with! Colors don't have to be exact either.
Sometimes Caspar can envelop himself fully in his cloud cape so it will look like he's a sheep made out of them.
His lightning horn will often shape itself like a little crown.
In life, this Grem was a commanding force among a group of storm mages who used their powers to perform weather experiments. In death, he became a part of that phenomenon.
While usually cautious, one sloppily managed field test spelled his doom. For his research, Caspar would go out during storms and raise copper constructs to see lightning reach out for them.
However, this time, one of the constructs was torn apart by the harsh winds.
Not willing to let that one go, Caspar approached to re-build it. Luck couldn't tell if it was on his side that day, as a branch of electricity went right through his frame, catalyzing his transformation into a weather-based cypher.
His death was not as harsh on his body as it could have been, but his burning head, chest, back and tail remain as signs of his past self's folly.
After the storm, his body was found by his colleagues lying face down near his research material. They recovered Caspar and brought him to their healers, who did very little work on him as he was already in an odd state of recovery, while still being very much dead.
Since this case was unusual, and profiting off the chance that he was yet unconscious, a small group of people performed various dissections on Caspar, going as far as to take him to academies to present their case in front of others.
While their research was commended, Caspar scorned them once he woke up.
After getting back on his feet, Caspar kept on being affiliated to the mage university he worked at, though he was no longer the head researcher there as he was replaced by the next one in-line while he was presumed "dead".
Caspar gathered his items from his office and bid several of his workmates goodbye while stating that he left on his desk a series of faulty/incomplete reports his successor wrote to him that he now has a chance to correct.
