Anya is a Cloud Kitsune that was born in the Arctic region, and thats where she resided for a long time. However, her home got attacked by others from the Fire region, and she had gotten seperated from her parents. She had been alone for a very long time, until she stumbled in a small town to find a small community, however, she was the only Kitsune in that village, and was now known as the Guardian of the small town. With such a title, she wears it as a badge of honor.
