Past lives

The green being that lives inside of Lyocell's body cavity is millions of years old. Some notable past lives include a parasaurolophus who lived for 6 million years with the help of the entity, and then a lot of horses. Quite early on it decided that it enjoyed having horses as hosts. In all of her past lives, her job has been to lure predatory animals directly to Fungus so it can feed, and green and whatever animal it's hosting have been very good at it.
The job

Presently, green lives inside of a horse in the middle of a desert. For the past 200-some years, this horse's job has been to monitor whatever organism that the yellow entity is hosting, as punishment for an act committed long ago. Lyocell herself doesn't know this, but green certainly does. Right now, Yellow's host has been stationed to guard a salt lake, and Lyocell has been stationed to guard Yellow's host. Make sure they don't do anything strange.
Revolt

Things started to change when Blue showed up at the edge of the salt lake, its host having been very recently incorporated into it. Yellow's host and it began conspiring about leaving the work altogether (In usual blue fashion) and ran away on horseback. What neither of them knew was that one of the horses they took was Lyocell, who is bonded with Green. Green was always closer to the boss than both Yellow and Blue, and so has been giving Fungus intel while also giving the two of them advice. What is she playing at?
