Kainda was born on Coruscant to two Zabrak parents; her mother from Iridonia, her father from Dathomir. Her parents led simple lives, and longed for Kainda to seek a simple life as well, but the girl was far too enamored with the action and adventure she saw on the holonet. She never meant to become a smuggler, of course, and started out as a pilot, but one thing led to another, and now she's one of the galaxy's most daring smugglers. The higher the stakes, the likelier she is to go for it.
