Zihao comes from a long line of extinct Dragon Hunters.

He was taken in as an infant by the shaolin monks and raised by their ways in buddhism and he was trained in the art of kung fu. Zihao had grown up not knowing what had happened to his birth family until he turned 18, and that's when he had learned they were murdered by one of the dragon kings (Lóng Wáng). Ever since learning the truth Zihao had been on a path of vengeance towards any and all dragons, which had gone against the shaolin monks beleifs, sending him out as an outcast, leaving him on his own.

Zihao had been badly hurt when his family had been killed, he had lost his arm resulting in needing a prosthetic and he had been so badly burned it left scarring on most of his chest, and down to his right thigh, in the shape of a sun. The monks that had taken him in did not think he would survive, but he had managed to pull through.
