The Birth of Fell
"My soul fell from the sky..."
Fell is a mycelium fruiting body. They were created from "Mother Mycelium" as Fell calls it. A vast network of fungi whose underground influence cannot be fathomed. The point of origin was from a falling star thousands of years ago. This network of mycelium produces a fruiting body every 50 or so years. Though, they live short lives, they give the mycelium an opportunity to travel and spread while simultaneously gathering intelligence to contribute to the hive mind.
Fell was born as the next iteration. They have their own personality and their own mind. Somewhat connected to the greater hive-mind. Fell can get trickles of feelings and emotions. But overall they are their own person. They have wondered for many many years across the lands. Meeting people and learning as much as they can about the world they inhabit.
Traumas/Defining Moments
"We all have a chance to be more than what we are."
Fell has experienced a lot of adversity in their short life from being spat at to near death experiences. They tend to isolate themself from getting too close to people. However, they are easily swayed over by stories and knowledge. Any opportunity to learn something new. When Fell turned 2, a master of martial arts and the mind offered to take fell on as a student. They spent 3 years together on an isolated mountain top, focusing on honing their skills. One day, Fell's master dissapeared without a trace. They waited on that mountain top for another 6 months before realizing their master was never coming back. It is an experience that has left Fell puzzled and hurt. Much of their life was spent with this specific person. They have never had closure for that.
