Appearance
A long, darker-pelted feline with narrow shoulders and hips. His stature does not fit other members of NorthClan, but he has larger paws that help him climb the boulders all the same. He has a longer tail to help his balance, and sharp grey eyes hidden under tufts of fur on his head that he prefers to keep there and hide most of his vision.

Blackberryleaf is anxious at heart, with quite the noticeable stutter to those who he's just met and/or feel nervous talking to. Despite this, Blackberry is quite the intellect, and he has a passion for his work, something he takes pride in. He uses his knowledge with medicine and closer relationship with StarClan to his advantage, often seeking prophecies on the future of NorthClan's wellbeing. Though, the tomcat does seem to get a little agitated if someone raises a challenge, and even more so if he loses said challenge. All in all, he's a passive medicine cat, and someone trustworthy to look up to in NorthClan.

History
KITHOOD
Blackberrykit was born in NorthClan to a mother and a father, who were exiled on his second moon. Although there were rumors, only the Clan Leader and Deputy know of why this was so, and that they provided danger to their peaceful sanctuary of NorthClan. Regardless, Blackberrykit was brought up by one of the nursery queens, having forgot her face many moons ago. She hadn't been long to go, either.
APPRENTICESHIP
Blackberrypaw was chosen as the herbalist apprentice after a moon training to be a warrior, quoting how he was "unfit to climb the rocky terrain" and "being a medicine cat would give him a greater future". Turns out they were right. He loved his new job. His mentor passed on when he was 15 moons, getting his name with the NorthClan leader at his side instead of the cat who had trained him.
