Appearance
Hex has long purple hair that's partially tied back. Because of corruption from his magic, his left eye is always leaking black. He wears flowing black clothing to avoid noticeable stains. The collar and earring are souveniers from kills, and are just for show.
Personality
David always seems to be on the verge of lashing out, not because of anger, but just out of want for something "fun" to do. He talks in a low voice (perhaps in a desperate attempt to stay calm), and tends to giggle at nothing. He follows orders, but he's otherwise unstable.

Hexes
Hex, of course, is best known for his hexes. These are minor curses that affect others either physically, mentally, or magically. Most often, he is nullifying abilities or twisting them to go horribly wrong (taking away strength or making fire magic turn into rocket balloons, for example). He usually dispels these hexes once he has had time to get safely away.These hexes are hand-drawn on white cards. They are activated the second they leave his hand. He draws more in between battles, they are not reusable.
Seals
Hex has several black cards. He cannot perform true shield magics, so he must settle for casting seals. These seals are reusable "shield" spells that appear in a dome around him and his allies. He has different ones to protect against each elemental magic and each respective light/dark alignment. He also has one that prevents others from getting close. These can only be activated once they touch the groound. He will refuse to touch them to any other surface (walls, ceiling) because the resulting dome would harm him and his allies.
"Hex" was killed in 2003 when his summoning spell went wrong. He had intended to summon an imp, which he did... Unfortunately, at the same time, it was being attacked by a violent Wrath demon. He fought for his life with every spell that he could, but he stood no chance against the demon.
When he made it to Hell, he found that he was in the Sixth circle for Heresy. His cultist ways had landed him there. When the inhabitants attempted to sacrifice him, he fought them all off with various spells and offensive magics, causing numerous casualties. For this, he was transferred from the Sixth circle to the Seventh circle- Violence. He quickly banded up with the first powerful group he found, swearing allegiance to Evric and his group.
Theme Song
-David keeps his cards in several pouches and his pockets. His main pouch is the leather one on his left hip - most of his deck is there.
-David's hexes and seals can be drawn with any material, but he usually uses a couple of sharpies. Color coding, yay!
-David will never use a summoning spell.
