Mizuki sat alone in the corner of her small bedroom, clutching her knees to her chest as tears streamed down her face. It had been a year since her mother had fallen ill, and in that time, Mizuki had been forced to grow up far too quickly. She was only fifteen, but she had already taken on the responsibilities of an adult. When her mother had been first hospitalized, Mizuki had done everything she could to keep their lives as normal as possible. She continued to go to school and work her part-time jobs, but now she had to juggle caring for her sick mother as well. It was a tough balancing act, and Mizuki was exhausted, but she refused to give up. Despite her determination, things were far from easy. Mizuki was constantly bullied by the other girls in school, who mocked her for her poverty and the fact that she had to work so hard. But Mizuki refused to be a victim. She fought back with everything she had, both verbally and physically. But her resilience came at a cost. Mizuki had accumulated multiple strikes for her bad behavior, and eventually, she was expelled from school. It was a devastating blow, but she didn't have time to worry about it. She had to keep working to pay for her mother's medical bills. The next two years were a blur of exhaustion and hardship, as Mizuki worked long hours and slept little. But finally, her mother's condition began to improve. Mizuki breathed a sigh of relief as her mother was discharged from the hospital and they could finally go home. Mizuki’s mother found a good boyfriend months after getting discharged. And had agreed to living with them after 5 months of dating, meaning that Mizuki no longer had to worry about having jobs. He was very kind to Mizuki, and she also liked being around him. Her mother’s boyfriend treated Mizuki as if she was his child. Mizuki had always longed for a father figure in her life. She was extremely happy. But there was one more challenge to face. When her mother found out that Mizuki had been expelled from school, she was heartbroken. She knew how much it meant to Mizuki to get an education, and she was determined to help her daughter make a fresh start. So they moved to a new town, where they found a school that was willing to give Mizuki a second chance. Mizuki got along with her schoolmates at school. Although she had to repeat a year because of her absence in her old school, she still enjoyed having others around her. Her juniors would always look up to her, and ask for help from her. She got popular around the school and had lots of friends. Now that Mizuki had a lot of time in her hands, she studied well and found something that piqued her interest. It was music. She saw a video of someone playing a bass and she was INSPIRED. So, she went to one of this person’s concerts. Luckily, the tickets were cheap. While this person played the bass, she felt chills sent down her spine. It was something she had never felt before. From then on, she started learning the bass by borrowing her friend’s. It was music to her ears. She got better and better at it each month and she loved it. She felt like she was on top of the world whenever she played the bass. Another hobby that took Mizuki’s interest was baking. Mizuki loved watching videos of other people baking cute food, so she tried it herself. It was bad. The muffins she was baking were melted and turned black. So, she started using her time to read books about baking and how she can Improve. That’s when she met Dotto. Dotto was one of Mizuki’s classmates, but she never really got to talk to her. Dotto is quiet and timid, and was scared of her classmates. She never liked socializing. It was when Mizuki was at a nearby park reading a baking book, when Dotto gathered the courage to talk to her. “ Uh.. Mizuki, do you like baking? “ Dotto asked. Mizuki was surprised that Dotto could actually talk. “Yeah! I love baking. I’m really bad at it though, I burnt and melted the muffins I tried to make last time!” Mizuki laughed. Dotto lit up. “I like baking too!” That was when they started having daily conversations about baking. Overtime, they became close friends and started sharing about their experiences. Mizuki was understanding of Dotto, and Dotto was a good listener to Mizuki. They were great friends to each other, It was as if they were the sun and moon. They continued to stay friends, and with the help of Mizuki, Dotto learned to socialize more and got along with some of her classmates too. Mizuki was extremely happy with Dotto, and felt as if she found a life long friend to stay by her side.

Mizuki and Dotto have a special bond that goes beyond friendship. They are like two peas in a pod, always there for each other no matter what. Mizuki values Dotto's unwavering support and encouragement, and Dotto admires Mizuki's kindness and strength. Whenever Mizuki is going through a tough time, Dotto is the first person she turns to. Whether she needs someone to vent to or just a shoulder to cry on, Dotto is always there with a sympathetic ear and a comforting hug. In turn, Mizuki is always there to lift Dotto up and remind her of her own strength and resilience. One of the things that brings Mizuki and Dotto together is their shared love of baking. Although Mizuki is not very skilled in the kitchen, she loves experimenting with new recipes and trying out new flavors. Dotto is always happy to help, providing guidance and support as Mizuki tries to perfect her baking skills. Together, they make a great team, and their friendship only grows stronger with each passing day.

After years of studying hard, Mizuki finally discovered something that truly sparked her interest - music. It all started when she stumbled upon a video of someone playing the bass. The way they moved their fingers and produced such amazing sounds was truly inspiring. So, she decided to attend one of this person's concerts, and the experience was life-changing. As she listened to the bass being played, Mizuki felt chills run down her spine. It was a feeling she had never experienced before, and she knew right then and there that music was going to be a big part of her life. She started borrowing her friend's bass and began teaching herself how to play. At first, it was difficult, but Mizuki was determined to master the instrument. With each passing month, Mizuki's skills improved, and she fell more in love with playing the bass. Whenever she picked it up, it was like the world around her disappeared, and all that mattered was the music she was creating. She felt like she was on top of the world, and nothing could bring her down. Playing the bass was not only a hobby for Mizuki; it was a passion that brought her joy and a sense of purpose. The bass that she was borrowing was given to her by her classmate as a gift. They said that they didn’t need it anymore, and felt it would be wasted if it was just kept in the storage use. It was given to Mizuki so it could have a new life. Mizuki could never be happier, and thanked her classmate by treating them lots of food. Mizuki was in tears the entire day. When Dotto heard about this, she celebrated with her. How nice!

• Her relationship with her mom's boyfriend is great. She's like his daughter, and he's like her father. They get along well! He also has knowledge on how to play the bass so he taught her some parts of that too.
