Story

The youngest among the three Calystro siblings, and a representative of the younger generation of his family, Rouillense chose his own path over his family's jewelry business and priveleges he could have. 

An artistic and whimsical person, Rouillense loves art in its many forms. From the elegant jewelry he covers himself with, to music and dancing - both being his passion and a forbidden power, due to his legacy and events he lived through. His childhood dream of becoming a musician was forever lost to him, yet his love for music and the perfect sense of rhytm remain, making him a great dancer. 

Rouillense's family story is tied to a cult, that being the Conglomerate worshippers, devotees of a man-made star. He was, though, the only Calystro that joined the cult in a few generations.

The star, manifested in a form of literal mass of meat, was composed of countless bodies of a single person. Their worship existed in a form of rhytm and heartbeat, their prayers dancing, singing and fighting, and any activities which have a rhytm in them. Their cult often engaged in hunting monsters, especially of unearthly origin. Rouillense was at home there, unaware about his ties with the cult founder and the star itself, until treachery broke a little friendship circle he had there with other members. Taking his time to reflect while in jail, and learning more about his former companions, he managed to get free and clear his good name.  Rouillense carries a small tambourine, his favorite instrument he could amplify and alternate the heartbeat with, gaining control over others or enhancing his own abilities, yet he doesn't use it if situation isn't dire.

Not wanting to devote himself entirely to the cult he once belonged to, he eventually left it.  His life and personality could no longer be the same after everything he has experienced, but audacity and thirst for adventure helped him not to stray from his chosen path. Driven by his desire to become some sort of a 'noble knight', he spent many years and efforts mastering the blade, and all the kinds of magic that were available to him. Despite his rather dark past, Rouillense posesses a good sense of morality and an inexhaustible supply of idiotic jokes. He spends his life wandering, rarely staying in one place for long, and makes his living as a teacher of fencing and magical arts.

Personality

Rouillense is a friendly, open-minded and extroverted person. He enjoys communicating with people no matter of their origin or social standing. He's supportive and empathetic, and would not turn a blind eye to anyone in need of help, as his aspiration for 'knighthood' tells him. It may seem like he is not just living, he's acting certain way; playing the role of a romantic hero, seeing life as a play script. He is a great connoisseur of stories and theatre - the latter being historically sponsored by his family.  He often participates in duels, sometimes actively seeking them - both to hone his skills, and to meet inspiring people.

On the other hand, his chitchat will not satisfy anyone curious about his true personality. His theatric manners and habit of making jokes of everything are often frustrating. Rouillense is overly secretive, will elude answering anything about his past, and will not likely share anything that troubles him. The mask of a hero is what you will likely see.

Appearance

Just like his older brother and sister, Rouillense is red-haired, dark-skinned and blue-eyed. His ancestry is very diverse, as the early people of his homeland once had to move across the continent due to a catastrophical cold snap, returning back after long time in a company of allies from all kind of places to restore their lost land both for themself own, and their new comrades. Somehow, there's still a 'general Calystro look' that Rouillense and his siblings posess - the eye shape and color, the pointed-upwards eyebrows and long ears, that all are somewhat iconic.

Rouillense is tall, lean and well-built due to his lifestyle. Keeping his physical form is also important for his magic abilities. He has long, curly hair and often keeps his nails long too, as both grow back much faster than normal due to his heightened regeneration abilities.

He enjoys beautiful clothes and jewellery, making new purchases when he can afford it (it usually means begging his rich sister to buy him a shiny).
