"Who knows with matters of money? What the source was, or where it goes once you part with it? Best to keep it to myself, for at least I know that."

"We are exiles in this world. None of us belong anywhere, but especially not where we are."

A wildly successful business owner. As a merchant, she rents both a large stall and small 'gift shop' which specialize in trinkets: odds and ends she's amassed from her years of wandering the globe. At her core, she is a devoted humanitarian. She loves meeting new people, dining on foreign foods, and learning languages. When she is not at her shop, she can be found employing knowledge of various trades. She is capable of replacing a wagon wheel in a matter of minutes. She understands that most tasks would only demand a willing hand and mind. However, due to her excessive traveling, she has absorbed all kinds of information, but allowed no single understanding to take root. Sometimes she spouts about how the planet must be hollow! Other times of magic and star, and she is a self proclaimed "spiritual" as well. Very superstitious. It is as if she absorbed all the rational and irrational of every culture she came upon. Her primary clientele is none other than the noble class. They are drawn to her odd collection and queer mannerisms like moths to a flame. It is rare for one to leave her salon within thirty minutes of entering it, as they will often find themselves with a glass of wine in hand, a pillow under head, and a pretty woman who would lend her ear to the plights of aristocracy. I have visited her place myself, and I find she has exquisite taste in flatware! It is of Eastern origin surely, but still smart enough to compliment most variants of table kept tureen. Though, I will admit I am no expert on the matter, I believe she delights in the fact that none are! You needn't be a fool to part with your money; Marie relies on comfort with an aroma of adventure, and mystery with an intimation of familiarity, to make a living off those who bide beyond their means, for prices that are not quite magnanimous.
