Akano is a practicing Enchantress, following in her father's footsteps. Not knowing her mother as she passed away when she was still very young, she was raised alone by her father all her life. He sold potions for away living and practiced hexes and charms on the side. Teaching her over the years, Akano learned everything she knows from her father and then expanded from that. Her father's practices led to many accounts of bullying in her youth, ultimately leading to her despise of the world.

In her adult years, she's taken pleasure in the suffering of others around her. She knows what is too much and never takes her hexing too far, however it doesn't change the fact she torments many around her. Though she spends a majority of her time practicing her spells and potions, she does play the bass from time to time, much to her roommate and friend Tohila’s dismay.
