Amethystos

Amethystos is based upon amethyst. Amethyst  is a violet variety of quartz. Feminine, transmasc, non-binary, genderqueer. Top scars are the result of “chiseling” which left an exposed layer of brightly colored quartz.

Amethystos wears showy costumes based loosely upon the amethyst mineral and the amethyst flower. Dress is shaped similarly to the Pisces symbol ♓️. Pisces represents love, spreading happiness.

Loves wine and drinks from amethyst goblets but doesn’t get drunk. Eyes are always shut in a smiling way. When opened, rarely, they are a vibrant violet with golden, moon-shaped pupils. Soft spoken normally but can also have a similar but more gruff voice than usual when upset. The forehead jewel, made of amethyst with an iridescent sheen, symbolizes a third eye. Amethystos kisses others on the forehead in between their eyes to symbolize a third eye and to also provide pleasing dreams.

Amethystos is one of several of my OCs born in February. His birthday lands on a cusp so he has traits of both Aquarius and Pisces. Birthstone is…amethyst!

Violets and/or irises are his birth flowers but I also associate him with amethyst flowers, water lilies and lavender.
